What do you play?

Postby PimpingWolfwood on Sun Sep 24, 2006 4:22 pm

What instrument(s) do you play, and how long have you played them?

I play drums (going on 3 years), I played violen for a couple years, and saxiphone for 3 years.

I haven't touched any musical instrument unless I had to for school since I stopped playing the recorder when I was 10.

I'm pretty inept with music.

I did a few years of drums in elementary and middle school, but that all fell by the wayside in eighth grade. Some days I want to pick it back up, though.

Go for it. I would die without my drums.

I played the guitar until my father's death years ago. I have not touched it since. I still have my 1979 Sigma-Martin Accoustic (worth alot back then) that has age issues being stored under the bed for 10+ years does bad things to 'em. If anyone restores old guitars let me know, it needs bridge work, sadle work, and key work. Thanks~!~

I probably should have posted in this thread earlier but never quite got round to it. I play the recorder, violin and piano - and the recorder my main instrument.

Now, before you laugh, go here and listen to a couple of mp3s. I particularly recommend the Bartok / Klezmer Dances / Eastern European Dances - but that's because I like the folk music. Of course, I'm not anywhere near as good as this guy, but it might show you what can be done.
