I find name explanations to be somewhat interesting at times. Type a few lines to tell us what yours means.
Aushiri is a my modified spelling of Augury (a form of divination that interperts the movements of birds and other animals). No I can't divine anything I just like the way the word sounds.

A play of letters -
Ashley > Asha > ashalee* (ash-a-lee) > ashamalee* (ash-a-ma-lee) then I some how got the nickname lily...
ash-a-lily, ash-a-lil-i-enne, ash-a-ma-lil-i-enne < and so ended my life.
*Note: the a is small for reasons of symetry.

Well, started out...erroded
like, wasted away. Faded. Washed away. Which, at the time in my life, that is how I was feeling.
I know I spelled it wrong, but that gave it a bit of a twist. Then as I realized that erroded was being used, I decided to keep it along the same lines and chose Errosion.
So, all in all, I've faded from the glory that I could have become...if that makes sense at all...

Mac is for macaroni, n is for and, chz is for cheese.
I like to eat it...does that count as special?

Khaavren is the main character in the Khaavren Romances by Steven Brust, the greatest fantasy writer of all time, you got that? Been using the name for years now, since it just sorta stuck.
You know you've picked a username that's too weird when you get into arguments on how to pronounce it.

Agguhs is my multi. Agguhs is Shugga spelled backward. Shugga is what my parents used to call me when I was a kid and my Grandmother still does : ) The alternative is to think of me as a rather large black woman about to give you a big ol bear hug, hehe. Either way works for me.

Rutabega. I spelt it wrong, not on purpose, mind you.
But, my real name is Ruth. That got shortened over time to just "Ru" by my friends, and my mom always called me "Ruta-toota". A friend once called me Rutabega.
I needed a new nick when I came to KoL, since I was getting tired of my old ones. It looked like a silly game, so I made a silly nick that corresponded with my name.

It's a name I made up 4 years ago when I registered for kcgeek. I've kept it because it's simple.
JUST DONT CALL ME DEVILION.

I knew I was going to be a moxie/stealthy based class as soon as I saw Accordion Thief. El Sneako was the first thing to pop in my head since I didn't find my regular online nick "harlekein" fitting.

I love the book Ender's Game! We read it in my sci fi class. I had no idea the shower scene was so homoerotic. *runs and hides* Sorry, I had to... darn teachers overanalyzing everything!

Back in the early days of Everquest 1 I created my character then came to a road block on the name, finally said screw it and decided to just name him something stupid, Volkswagen. I like the car, own one, so I figured why not. Only problem was their nazi-like name restriction system. Rejected the name. So it then became my goal to figure how to get around that problem. Tried all spelling variations and failed. Finally figured I would just 2 part it since you get surnames at 20. Thus I became Volksen Wagenen. Since then I have just used the name for all games I play since Volksen fits almost any genre, fantasy, sci-fi, etc.
